The Chesterfield Township School District, located in Northwestern Burlington County, is currently searching for a highly effective educational leader for the position of Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction.  The successful candidate will:

• Make data-driven decisions and use evidence-based practices for increasing student achievement
• Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Plan and deliver professional development
• Possess a strong knowledge of NJSLS to support vertical and horizontal articulation
• Use a lens centered in equity and achievement for all students
• Remain current with educational research and pedagogy
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, staff, administration, and parents in the area of curriculum and instruction
• Coordinate and collaborate with district staff and outside consultants/agencies
• Conduct staff meetings and provide leadership, instruction and motivation, supporting the professional growth of all faculty
• Study, evaluate, and as appropriate, recommend the adoption of new instructional materials, methods, and programs
• Facilitate framework for Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
• Provide leadership in the development of the K-6 instructional program for all areas of the curriculum
• Plan and deliver a series of presentations to the Board of Education for the purpose of interpreting educational programing and data analysis for parents and to the public at large

The successful candidate must possess a valid New Jersey Supervisor certificate.  Experience at the elementary level is strongly preferred.  Anticipated start date of November 1, 2024.  Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, copies of certification, and two letters of recommendation to Donna Field, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, at dfield@chesterfieldschool.com.
