OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - PART-TIME

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

The Northern Region Educational Services Commission (NRESC), located in Passaic County, has an opening for an Occupational Therapist (part-time - not to exceed 28.75 hours per week).

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Criminal History background check.
• Proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• NJDOE Occupational Therapy Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide services for students eligible for OT Services.
• Complete all assessments and evaluations in accordance with NJDOE Special Education Code.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding student needs.
• Ability to communicate effective in English, both orally and in writing with students, staff, parents, and community while adhering to confidentiality guidelines at all times.
• Familiarity with Google Applications (slides, sheets, docs and drive).
• Maintain professional competence by participating in staff development activities, curriculum development meetings, and other professional opportunities; and
• Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.

Salary Range:  As per negotiated contract and commensurate with experience.
