Description: Middle School Literacy Coach for 5th and 6th Grades.

Job Summary: This position is for a Literacy Coach (Grades 5 & 6) at L.V. Moore Middle School for the 2024-2025 School Year. 
 

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

  • New Jersey Instructional Certificate (K-12 English Certification)

  • Minimum three years of instructional experience in Literacy; Masters degree in Education required 

  • History of coaching both new and experienced teachers preferred

  • Strong knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards

  • Work closely with teachers to implement high-quality practices to improve literacy instruction

  • Ensure the implementation of a quality, standards-based curriculum and literacy interventions

  • Provide professional development through coaching and modeling to increase the number of effective or highly effective teachers within the school

  • Work collaboratively with school leaders and teachers to collect, analyze and use data to continuously improve the instructional program  

 

Salary: As per REA Salary Guide
