Description The North Plainfield School District, a culturally diverse school district in Somerset County serving 3,700 students Pre-K through grade 12, seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative professional for the position of Preschool Resource and Interventionist. 
 
For those still in the process of attaining certification, please know that the North Plainfield District is approved for participation in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program which may allow you to work in a full time role as you complete your final certification requirement.    
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Preschool-Grade 3 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) certifications
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the NJSLS and the Creative Curriculum 
  • Familiarity in working with data to help make informed instructional decisions
  • Strong skill set in lesson planning, behavior management, curriculum development, assessment, and integrating various educational resources.
  • Growth mindset -  the district provides professional development and employs instructional coaches to support teachers in their pedagogy
  • Bilingual preferred/required
  • Proven experience working with students in a preschool setting
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to a student’s individual needs
 
Salary: $66,765 (minimum) to $99,470 (maximum) commensurate with experience
