Middle/Upper School Math Teacher

Pioneer Academy is seeking a highly effective full-time Middle/Upper School Math Teacher to cultivate our students the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they will need to succeed in college. The successful candidate must be a highly enthusiastic individual and committed to the school's mission and vision.

Responsibilities:

•  Plan and implement student-centered math lessons based on Pioneer Academy course standards.
•  Create engaging lessons that develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•  Be dedicated to teaching and motivating students to succeed.
•  Continually assess student progress toward mastery of standards and keep students and parents well informed of student progress by collecting and tracking data, providing regular feedback, and weekly assessments.
•  Provide necessary accommodations and modifications for the growth and success of all students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree
• 2 years of teaching experience
• NJ teaching certificate preferred but not required

This position is for the 2025/2026 academic year. Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred. NJ certification is not required but preferred.
