Holmdel High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School English Teacher for a tenure-track position teaching grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will foster a love of literature and writing while developing students’ critical thinking, reading, and communication skills.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification in Secondary English (Grades 9-12).
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of literary analysis, composition, and rhetoric.
• Experience with differentiated instruction and classroom management.
• Ability to integrate technology into instruction effectively.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Strong collaboration skills for working within a department and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to design and implement engaging project-based and inquiry-based lessons.
• Familiarity with state standards and curriculum frameworks.

Preferred: ESL Certification
