Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district in Westfield, NJ that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts in Union County.

The Commission is currently seeking a certified special education teacher to help implement vocational instruction and supervise students participating in Structured Learning Experiences (SLEs) at community-based internship sites located throughout Union County.

Description:

* Available Immediately 
* Full-Time, 10-Month Position 
* Hours: 8:20 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.

Requirements:

* College Degree in Education or related field from an accredited College or University 
* Standard Instructional Certificate from New Jersey Department of Education 
* Evidence of 1+ years of full-time classroom teaching experience including vocational skills instruction
* Willingness to complete training required by NJ Department of Labor and New Jersey Department of Education with partial reimbursemet from district 
* Valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle License w/ Clean Driving Record 
* Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Experience working with Special Education populations preferred
