The Department of Human Resources is currently accepting applications for the position of a Human Resources Generalist for the 2024 - 2025 school year.  This position will assist the Director of Human Resources in the efficient operation of the department. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Prior experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in personnel administration, including knowledge of various information systems (ex. Frontline, Genesis SchoolFi, NJEdCert, and NJSMART).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to effectively use email and Microsoft 365.


Examples of Responsibilities:

  • Daily response to emails, written correspondence, and telephone inquires
  • Management of staff attendance via Frontline's Absence Management 
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
  • Preparation of Board of Education personnel motions
  • Maintenance of information related to varios NJDOE and Federal data submissions (EEO-5 and NJSMART)
  • Ensuring all Human Resource Information Systems are up-to-date
