Crossroads Academy

Crossroads Academy is an approved private school for students with disabilities.                      

We are in need of a full-time Teachers of the Handicapped or Teachers of Students with Disabilities to teach in our special education classroom.

Serious consideration will go to candidates who have any of the following credentials and abilities:

1- NJ Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification.

2- Alternate Route candidates and those with the CE or CEAS NJDOE credentials.

( We will financially support and mentor those in need of additional classwork to attain the full certification) 

Additional qualities: Ability to collaborate in the development of appropriate lesson plans that adhere to all IEP requirements.

 Skill at modifying curriculum to serve multiple learning levels

Applicant must be reliable, empathetic, and able to work as a team member.

Hours are 8:15-3:15 M-F.

Starting Base Salary for appropriately credentialed teachers $65,000.00

Experienced appropriately credentialed teachers will be
