Summary:
We are seeking an Interim Physical Education & Health Teacher to join our team at Cinnaminson Middle School from December 9, 2024 through February 2, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction in physical education and health to middle school students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans for physical education and health classes
- Instruct students on proper techniques and safety procedures for various physical activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Promote healthy habits and lifestyles to students
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate school-wide events and activities
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Teaching certification in Physical Education and/or Health
- Prior experience teaching middle school students preferred
- Knowledge of current physical education and health standards and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
- Must pass a background check and maintain a clean criminal record.]]>
