Description POSITION:                                     REPLACEMENT SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (RESOURCE)
                                                       APSHAWA SCHOOL - FEBRUARY 2025 - JUNE 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES:                  *Provide specialized learning experiences ina supportive and positive classroom
                                                        climate that develops in each student the skills, attitudes and knowledge to meet
                                                        and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning Standards as outlined in the IEP for
                                                        the student, using approved curricula and directives of the school.
                                                    *Ongoing collaboration with administration, case manager, general education teachers,
                                                        related services staff and parents 
                                                    *Utilize data to construct and offer differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of
                                                       student population

QUALIFICATIONS:                     1. Appropriat NJ State Certification - Teacher of Students with Disabilites or Teacher of 
                                                         the Handicapped
                                                    2. Enthusiasm and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
                                                    3. Prior experience working with High School aged students

SALARY:                                         Per Board of Education/WMEA Agreement
