Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Spring 2025

Donovan Catholic High School, a Catholic, co-educational high school located in Toms River, NJ, is accepting applications for a Head Boys’ Lacrosse coaching position for the 2024-2025 spring season.

Qualifications:

• Meet NJSIAA qualifications for coaches

• Must serve as a role model to students

• Ability to motivate
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and members of the school community

• Knowledge of the sport and utilizes best practices to teach skills and strategies
• Up -to-date on Mandatory Trainings - First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Heat-Illness Prevention
• Head coaching experience at high school level preferred
• Min. 3 years of high school assistant coaching experience required
• Assist College Bound Athletes with recruitment process
• Develop a positive team culture and climate
• Possess strong communication skills
• Be proficient with technology, social media, and marketing
• Have a minimum of 60 college credits

Applicants must be available to coach Monday-Friday during after-school hours starting at 3 p.m. and on the weekends.

A background and fingerprint report will be conducted and submitted to State authorities as required by law for all personnel working within a school environment. Must be willing to undergo Catholic Diocese VIRTUS certification.
