ATHLETIC DIRECTOR / HS VICE PRINCIPAL

Position to start on or about December 16, 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid New Jersey Principal, or School Administrator Certificate, or Certificate of Eligibility.
2. Minimum of five years of teaching experience in Middle School/High School, preferred.
3. Experience in athletics as a coach and/or supervisor/administrator, preferred.
4. Knowledge of curriculum and instruction and ability to lead others.
5. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for students and athletics.
6. Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills.
7. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

REPORTS TO:         PRINCIPAL & DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION

JOB GOAL:              To provide leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of the district’s athletic program in order to provide students with the opportunity to develop physical skills, knowledge, and understanding of sports and the principles of fair play; To provide leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of instructional programs to ensure the provision of high-quality teaching practices in order to increase student achievement.

SALARY:                  In accordance with the BREA Negotiated Agreement
