Accounts Payable Coordinator

Full-Time, 12-Month Position

Union County Educational Services Commission is a public agency in Westfield, New Jersey that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts located throughout Union County. The Commission is currently seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Coordinator to assist the School Business Administrator in the efficient and effective operation of the Business Office. This organized and detail-oriented individual will be responsible for facilitating budget transfers, preparation of accounts payable checks and related reports, monthly check register, monthly budget status report, maintain and update property inventory and perform all other duties as assigned by the Business Administrator.

Requirements:
  • Earned Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of five years successful employment experience in a related position preferably completed in an educational setting. 
  • Experience with spreadsheets and accounting system.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills needed to relate well with administration, staff and school district personnel.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
