1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline.
2. Minimum five (5) years’ experience preferred within a NJ public school district to include: payroll, pensions, employee benefits, computer accounting functions, and other related Business Office functions.
3. Experience with Genesis and Asbury Park payroll software.
4. Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with NJ statute, code and GAAP requirements.
5. Proficient technology skills including use of Microsoft Office, NJDOE Homeroom systems, online banking and Google applications.
6. Excellent organizational skills; ability to work under deadlines.
7. Possess strong integrity, moral character, good judgment, and discretion with confidential information and situations.
8. Possesses excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to problem solve with initiative and a high degree of responsibility.
9. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the SBA may find appropriate and acceptable.
10. Required criminal history background check and proof of United States citizenship.
