EMS INSTRUCTOR
(Part-Time)
BERGEN COUNTY EMS TRAINING CENTER  (PARAMUS)


QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Must possess current, valid licenses, certifications and/or accredited program completions necessary to provide effective, creditable instruction in the specific areas assigned by the Director of EMS.
  2. At the time of application candidate must be a riding member of a New Jersey pre-hospital care agency for five (5) consecutive years prior to applying for this position.
  3. Ability to interface effectively with diverse groups and adult learners.
  4. Evidence of successful potential, as demonstrated in classroom presentations, prior experience, references and interviews as applicable.
  5. Available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate day, evening and/or weekend classes.
  6. Effective communication and organization skills.      
  7. New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.
 
NOTE:   Positions are part-time, maximum of twenty-four (24) hours per week.
 
RATE:   As per EMS salary guide – Instructor’s hourly rate.
