School Based Speech Language Pathologist 

Immediate Opening and anticipated openings for the 2025-26 school year.

Rock Brook is an NJDOE approved private, non-profit school for students with communication and other developmental challenges from ages 3 through age 21. We currently serve 50 students from 26 different school districts in central New Jersey.

Our Vision: All RBS students will attend a school where they are valued, challenged, and prepared for college or careers beyond the walls of 109 Orchard Rd. This is possible only with the right team in place and when we work collaboratively with parents to support our students.

Our SLPs work closely with students, families and case managers to foster speech and language skills for students with varied diagnoses, including articulation/phonology disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, fluency disorders, augmentative and alternative communication needs and language-based literacy disorders. Our therapists understand the importance of communication, education, and social/emotional well being and how a delicate balance is integral in building relationships with others.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • New Jersey Department of Education certification as a Speech/Language Specialist and a New Jersey license as a Speech/Language Pathologist.
  • American Speech and Hearing/Language Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology (CCC) is preferred.
  • Bilingual is preferred but not required
  • CFY’s are welcome to apply

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: Current range $67,000 - $87,000
