Director of Elementary Education and Intervention (Anticipated)

REPORTS TO:
Superintendent of Schools

SUPERVISES:
Professional employees in the district as directed by the Superintendent

JOB GOAL:
Under the general direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Director of Elementary Education is responsible for the administration, coordination and supervision of all aspects of Elementary Education. Responsibilities include oversight of all elementary schools, and Early Childhood Learning Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• New Jersey Principal or Chief School Administrator Certification

• Instructional Certification 

• Master’s degree;  5-10 years related experience and/or training.

• Five successful years of teaching and administrative experience in elementary schools. Experience at the district level, or experience as a principal is preferred.

• Successful Criminal History Clearance.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.
  
   

  Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status

Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
