Summer Camp Section Leader - Summer 2025
REPORTS TO: Summer Camp Director
POSITION AVAILABLE: June 16, 2025
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience as camp supervisor or relevant role
- Teacher certification preferred
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Section Leaders will assist the the Director in constant supervision of the campers, maintaining their safety, organizing, interacting and helping to run activities and providing a fun environment designated group of campers. Section Leaders will also keep the group on schedule and attend all group trips. In addition, this position will work with the director to plan on-campus activities such as arts & crafts, and PE indoor/outdoor games. Section Leaders are to be positive role models and motivate campers to enthusiastically participate in all camp activities and events. Section Leaders are expected to work a minimum of 4 camp weeks (consecutive or non-consecutive).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the Director
- Monitor safety and security of group of campers
- Assist specialists with camp activities for group
- Attend all group camp trips
- Any additional tasks as assigned by the Camp Director
- Attend paid staff orientation meeting & family meet & greet prior to the start of camp
