Description

Special Education SLE coordinator (NJDOE) would be responsible for the following:

Place and supervise all students in school sponsored WBL experiences (other than CEEs and Apprenticeships)
in non-hazardous occupations in any Career Cluster.

Requirements:
New Jersey Instructional Certificate

  • Teacher of the Handicapped/Teacher of Students with Disabilities
  • SLE coordinator certificate
  • Structured Learning/Work Based learning experience preferred
Hold a Standard Special Education Instructional Certificate.
Present evidence of two or more years of full-time, successful classroom teaching experience.
  • Completed online training of all four NJ Safe School Program (NJSSP) courses:
    • NJ Wage and Hour and Wage Payment and Child Labor Laws, Regulations, and Hazardous Orders
    • Federal Wage and Hour and Child Labor Laws, Regulations, and Hazardous Orders
    • OSHA 10 Plus (includes additional online NJDOE 2-Hour Safety and Health Certificate Training)
    • Designing and Implementing Student Training Plans

Effective: 2024 - 2025 School Year

Salary: Based on Salary Guide
