RBT, Part Time Position

This position is not benefit eligible.

Qualifications: CPI training preferred. Experience in a school setting preferred. Must pass required criminal history background check

Performance Responsibilities:

• Follows oral and written directions and seeks clarification from the teacher
• Assist the classroom teacher with creating and maintaining a learning environment conducive to the student's learning needs
• Provides student(s) with supportive and supplemental instructional assistance
• Follows all IEP modifications as directed by the teacher
• Demonstrates ability to support a safe, healthy, and effective learning environment
• Prepares and organizes materials to support teaching and learning
• Establishes rapport and maintains respectful relationships with students
• Demonstrates ability to support individual student behavior plans
• Accompanies student(s) to special events and to other classrooms, including music, art, and physical education
• Assist classroom teacher in collecting observation data and implementing behavior plans/incentive plans
• Follows directives and supervision provided by the District BCBA/Supervisor of Special Services
