Elementary Education Teacher  - Grade 5 

Leave Replacement Position - Full-Year Assignment
Harding Elementary School
Anticipated  Date: January 21 - June 20, 2025
 
                                                     
QUALIFICATIONS:                
  1. Valid NJ Elementary Education Teacher K-6 Certificate.
  2. Additional Certification as a NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) a plus.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
  4. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
  7. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).

 
REPORTS TO:                        Principal
 
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT:                     Kenilworth Board of Education’s substitute long-term daily rate: Step 1 BA $71,017. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:16-1:1, time accrued as a leave replacement teacher does not count towards tenure.
