Assistant Principal - David Brearley Middle-High School 
Leave Replacement Position
Anticipated Dates: Feb. 6 -  June 30, 2025
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Master’s Degree from an accredited or approved institution.
  • Valid NJ Certification as a Principal.
  • At least five years of successful experience teaching in a middle school or high school.
  • Knowledge/experience with middle-high school programs.
  • Must be an instructional leader.
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills.
  • A required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
  • Must meet NJ Residency requirements per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).
 
REPORTS TO:                   Superintendent of Schools
 
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Daily rate determined by prorated salary and terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

  • knowledge of student information systems, including scheduling, grading, and transcript processes
  • a commitment to outreaching and partnering with parents and community
  • conflict resolution skills necessary to mediate challenging situations
