District Special Education Coach
To serve as an instructional coach in Special Education for teachers and staff. Coaching in Lindenwold is centered on a collegial relationship between a trained and experienced teacher serving in the coach position and a teacher who will benefit from having a critical thought partner, informed observer, supportive and supporting coach colleague, and resource for up-to-date research and pedagogical best practices. Coaches will also work in tandem with supervisors and directors to advance our curricular, assessment, instructional, and professional learning programming.
QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Certification in special education required
- Minimum of five years’ teaching experience required
- Experience in a special education/special services background required
- Experience preparing and presenting professional development experiences for teachers and/or other relevant staff
- Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board of Education may deem appropriate.
