Middle School Principal

Anticipated Opening for 12-month Middle School Principal

Beginning on or about January 2, 2025

Seeking a dynamic and visionary Middle School Principal who is passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Social Emotional Learning, Curriculum development and a deep understanding of multi-tiered system of support. This role requires a leader who can inspire and guide both students and staff towards academic excellence and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership to promote a positive school culture that prioritizes SEL and academic achievement.
• Utilize the Danielson Framework for Teachers to evaluate and support instructional practices, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
• Lead professional development initiatives focused on SEL, NJSLS and MTSS.
• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional materials across all grade levels.
• strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders to support the school’s mission and goals.
• Oversee the daily operations of the school, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Principal’s Certificate.
• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.
• Proven experience in implementing SEL programs, Curriculum development, NJSLS, MTSS, familiarity with the Danielson Framework for Teachers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
