Speech Language Pathologist

Best of You Therapy is hiring for a full-time SLP in an elementary school in  Hawthorne, NJ

All hours paid- direct and indirect. 1099 reimbursement 

Paid lunch and preparation periods. Low caseload. School follows 3:1 model 

``Duties```

- Provide speech and language therapy services to students 
- Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve communication skills
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language strategies for home practice
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

```Qualifications```

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• NJ State DEPT of Education certificate
  - Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  - Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
  - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
  - Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  - Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
