Job Posting: Special Education Teacher - Maternity Leave

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement differentiated ELA lesson plans based on student needs for each grade level.
• Collaborate with staff, and other professionals to support student growth.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance.
• Push-in to support inclusion classrooms for lower grades
• Implement differentiated small group lessons in collaboration with the general education teachers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education 
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
