Description
The Piscataway Township Schools Board of Education seeks a dynamic educational leader to continue to advance student success for all students. This PK – 12 district serves approximately 7,300 students in eleven schools, with approximately 650 teaching staff and a budget of $149 million dollars and maintains a very active and engaged partnership with parents and community members. Piscataway Township Schools have been named a High Performing District by the NJ Department of Education, has been consistently ranked among the Best High Schools in America by US News and World Report, has been consistently ranked among the Best School Districts in NJ by Niche, received Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards from the National School Public Relations Association, consistently named Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, and remains one of the most diverse districts in the state.
The ideal candidate will have documented success and experience in improving student success, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, personnel management, labor relations, finance, and effective communications.
Qualifications:
• NJ School Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE) required
• Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or in Central office with district-wide responsibilities required
• Similar PK - 12 district experience preferred
• Classroom teaching experience preferred
• Earned Doctorate preferred
Salary: commensurate with experience; subject to NJ regulations.
