Math Teacher:

Qualifications: 

• Saint James Elementary School seeks a motivated educator to join our teaching staff as a middle school math teacher.  The ideal candidate will be creative in the planning and instruction, possess the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and inspire students to be the best they can be.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and learning standards
• Plan, prepare and execute compelling lessons that facilitate active learning
• Collect, utilize and monitor available data to develop student learning goals.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate student learning
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences
• Participate in monthly staff meetings
• Complete other tasks and duties as assigned

Job Description:

• Full time
• Monday – Friday
• Hours 7:30am – 2:45pm
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.
