Description Preschool Program

Job Goal: To help preschool aged students resolve their personal, emotional, and social problems as they adjust to school and their capacity to enjoy the full benefits of their educational experiences.

Qualifications:

Valid N.J. Educational Services Personnel Certificate and School Social Worker Endorsement.
Advanced degree in social work, preferred.
Three years of experience as a social worker, preferred.
Experience providing services to young children.
Demonstrated competence to use a computer as a tool for management.
Ability to serve as an advocate for students’ needs.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
