Donovan Catholic High School, a Catholic, co-educational high school located in Toms River,
NJ, is accepting applications for a Head Varsity Bowling coaching position for the 2024-2025
Winter season.
Qualifications:
? Meet NJSIAA qualifications for coaches
? Must serve as a role model to students
? Ability to motivate
? Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and members of the school
community
? Knowledge of the sport and utilizes best practices to teach skills and strategies
? Up -to-date on Mandatory Trainings - First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Heat-Illness
Prevention
? Head coaching experience at high school level preferred
? Min. 3 years of high school assistant coaching experience required
? Assist College Bound Athletes with recruitment process
? Develop a positive team culture and climate
? Possess strong communication skills
? Be proficient with technology, social media, and marketing
? Have a minimum of 60 college credits
Applicants must be available to coach Monday-Friday during after-school hours starting at 3
p.m. and on the weekends.
A background and fingerprint report will be conducted and submitted to State authorities as
required by law for all personnel working within a school environment. Must be willing to
undergo Catholic Diocese VIRTUS certification.
