Job Opening - 2024-2025 School Year

Elementary School
Special Education Paraprofessional Part-Time (5 hours/day)
  • Paraprofessional for special education students ranging in age from preschool to grade 8.
  • Experience working with individuals who display challenging behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Duties include re-teaching, and implementing modifications and accommodations provided by the special education teacher per the IEP. 
  • The candidate will work with the student individually, in small groups and in the large class setting. 
  • Consultation with the district’s board certified behavioral analyst will be provided. 
  • Reinforce teacher instruction.
  • Carry out behavioral plans.
  • Collect data on student achievement and behavior. 
  • Minimum Step 1 Pay Rate: $25.68 / hour
Per Collective Bargaining Agreement, No Benefits Are Included with this Part-Time Position
