Requirements:

New Jersey Instructional Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility, or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing
- Early Childhood Education P-3 or
- Elementary Education K-6
Successful clearance of criminal history
All Substitutes must be BOE approved

Effective:

Salary:

Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day
Days 21 plus - $308.00 per day (23-24 salary guide)
- *pending negotiations- Day 21+ = per HTEA Step 1 /day (2024/25 STEP 1 BA Teacher Guide)
