REPORTS TO: Business Administrator/designee
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Payroll Manager shall:
- Demonstrate knowledge of all Labor Laws and provides training and information for district personnel;
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability; Makes recommendations about needed revisions in district operations,
- Demonstrate ability to adhere to deadlines;
- Demonstrate ability to supervision staff
- Attend state and local meetings to remain abreast of any and all upcoming changes to Labor Laws;
- Compile and enters payroll data; computes, posts wages and reconciles errors.
- Maintain and updates all payroll records such as taxes, union dues, insurance; Files all requirement payments with appropriate agencies
- Review wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Record Leave pay and nontaxable wages
- Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with all pertinent constituents
- Adhere to the policies and procedures adopted by state and federal regulations, the Board of Education and administrative directives,
- Demonstrate competence in his/her role and skills
- Share in responsibilities which contribute to the depth and scope of the total school program.
- Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Board of Education and/or the Superintendent of Schools
