Anticipated Vacancy - Computer Repair Technician Level 1

COMPUTER REPAIR TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1

• Reports to Network Administrator
• Relevant Certifications and 1 year or more experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Networking Environment, Microsoft Windows 7/10, TCP/IP, Microsoft Office Suite, Chrome OS
• Maintains, upgrades, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems hardware, software, and computer peripherals.
• Troubleshoots/maintains/fixes Chromebooks/PCs/Macs/Printers over various manufacturers
• Gathers information from equipment periodically for state and other reporting
• Manages network entities including but not limited to cabling, switches and servers
• Performs research and gets specifications in order to replace and upgrade district technologies
• Works with various district outsourced technologies such as Realtime SIS, Lenovo, Acer, etc.
• Works with staff members on technological solutions for their current and future needs
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and climb ladders as needed
• Motor vehicle license and ability to provide own transportation
• Salary commensurate with experience
