Description
ANTICIPATED POSITION 2024-2025 SY 
 
Special Education Classroom Aide 
Part-time 5 Hours per Day (Monday–Friday)   
Districtwide
Anticipated Start Date: December 10, 2024
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:         
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
  3. Willingness to actively assist special education students in the performance of learning activities.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with appropriate building staff.
  5. Experience working with students with behavioral/ learning needs and/or previous experience working as an aide with behavioral supports.
  6. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).

                                        
REPORTS TO:                      Supervisor of Special Services/Principal

TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT:                    $28.52 per Hour. Terms per collective bargaining agreement
