Qualifications: This position requires a New Jersey Supervisory certification.   Principal certification is preferred. Candidate must meet NJ residency requirements.  Burlington Township is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve as the educational leader in a progressive and collaborative learning environment.  The successful candidate must be skilled in the area of data and data analysis, middle school and high school mathematics and language arts knowledge preferred, be a strong communicator, have solid knowledge of effective instructional practices, be a team player, and be able to maintain and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders.  Must exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A minimum of five years teaching experience, certificated professional experience, and/or administrative experience.

2. Holds a Masters Degree.

3. New Jersey Supervisory Certification required and Principal’s Certificate CE or Standard Certification preferred.

4. A strong working knowledge of instructional practices

5. An understanding of the process of supervision and evaluation.  

6. Strong leadership, organizational, instructional, and management skills.

7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

JOB GOALS:  To provide leadership and supervision in the district; to coordinate curricula development in assigned areas, and to serve as an advisor to the building principal and Central Office Administration, all toward the end of providing each student the maximum benefit from the educational program.
