The Deron School of N.J., Inc., an approved private school for students with disabilities, ages 3-21 is seeking applicants for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. We are currently seeking a BCBA for the Montclair Campus (Ages 14 - 21). Overview:
- Provide direct/indirect supervision to RBT's, Teacher Assistants and 1:1 Paraprofessionals assigned to students and classrooms. BCBA candidates must possess 8 supervision training according to BCBA standards.
- Creation of Behavior intervention plans and/or positive behavior support plans. Train instructional staff on specific protocols individualized per student.
- Assist teachers in implementing Behavior Plans.
- Support instructional staff in the creation, review and update of ABA curriculum plans based on ABLLS-R, VBMAPP and AFLS results.
- Review reports and data on a regular basis
- Analyze data-collection and implement data-driven program changes
- Write reports summarizing data and progress for each student supervised
- Regular communication with parents
- Coordinate with Case Managers to maintain quality assurance
- Provide parent and staff training
- Assist with the intake process of potential new students
- Support with coverage, arrival and dismissal procedures as needed.
