Qualifications Include:

Certification as Teacher of Students with Disabilities or TOH required
Deep knowledge and understanding of the NJSLS
Familiarity in working with data to help make informed instructional decisions
Strong skill set in lesson planning, behavior management, curriculum development, assessment, and integrating various educational resources
Growth mindset - the district provides professional development and employs instructional coaches to support teachers in their pedagogy
Proven experience working with students in an inclusion setting
Ability to differentiate instruction to a student's individual needs
