Math Teachers

Math Teachers- Secordary
Grades 6-8 or 9-12


Requirements:

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate -Teacher of Mathematics or Middle School Math
• Knowledge/experience with NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics
• Knowledge/experience with applications of computer science (a plus)
• Foundational understanding of at least computer programming language (ie: Java, Python, etc)
• Knowledge of state assessment test specifications (ie: NJSLA – Math)
• Ability to analyze data to drive instructional decisions
• Knowledge/Experience with Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (a plus)
• Ability to differentiate instruction/rigor by course level (ie: CP, Honors, AP)
• Bilingual (a plus)
• Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow department members
• Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Background with implementation of Google Apps for Education
• Willingness to provide instruction in more than one building (if needed)

Salary:

• Based on Salary Guide and experience
• Salary range step 1 BA $59,469 through step 19 Doctorate $97,654
