We are seeking a skilled and passionate High School Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, instructing students, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure student success.
Valid NJ K-12 Social Studies certificate is required.
Strong foundational background knowledge in social studies required.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students
Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to engage and challenge students
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that student needs are being met and to promote student success
Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
