Union County Educational Services Commission is a public agency in Westfield, NJ that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts in Union County.
The Commission is currently seeking a part-time receptionist to support the efficient operation of a busy public school central office building. This organized and dependable candidate will be responsible for greeting, screening and announcing visitors; answering, recording and routing telephone calls; processing incoming and outgoing postal mail and packages; and performing other clerical duties as assigned by the Office of the Superintendent.

+ 12-Month Position
+ Part-Time, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday)
+ Hours: 12:00 pm to 4 pm
+ Salary: $21/hour
Qualifications:
+ Prior receptionist/secretarial experience preferably completed in an educational setting
+ Basic computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, etc).
+ Excellent organizational, telephone and clerical skills
+ Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills needed to relate well with administration, teaching staff, students and members of the local community
