Middle School Math Teachers - Grades 6-8

Requirements:

Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of Mathematics or 5-8 Subject Matter Specialization - Mathematics)
Knowledge/experience with NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics
Knowledge of state assessment test specifications (ie: NJSLA – Math)
Ability to analyze data to drive instructional decisions
Knowledge/Experience with Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (a plus)
Ability to differentiate instruction/rigor by course level (ie: on grade level, accelerated level, and/or high school course content – in middle school)
Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow department members
Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Background with implementation of Google Apps for Education
Bilingual (a plus)
