Position Overview:
Thrive Charter School seeks dedicated and enthusiastic substitute teachers to support our students’ learning and maintain classroom continuity in the absence of regular teachers. This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of a passionate team while gaining valuable teaching experience in a welcoming school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during classroom and non-classroom activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure consistent student support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 60 college credits from an accredited institution.
• New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for education and working with diverse student populations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching or classroom experience is a plus.
• Flexibility and reliability to cover assignments at short notice.
