Union County Educational Services Commission is a public agency located in Westfield, NJ that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts in Union County. The Commission is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher  to provide self-contained academic instruction in all content areas for a small group of students enrolled in a residential treatment program at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey. 

Description:

* Full-Time, 10-Month Position
* Monday - Friday, 8:20 - 2:40 p.m.

Requirements: 

* Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field from an accredited College or University 
* Standard NJDOE Certificate as Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities
* Evidence of highly successful teaching experience, preferably with students with disabilities
* Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Completion of additional employment requirements of Trinitas Regional Medical Center
