Description Academic Assistance Teacher (Literacy/Math Support)

Part Time, No Benefits

Start Date: January 2, 2025

Elementary School Teacher Certificate required
Reading Specialist Certificate required
Experience and certification in multi-sensory reading instruction preferred
Knowledge of best practices for teaching elementary-level literacy skills & math intervention
Using data to inform instruction and set learning goals
Strong knowledge of differentiation, intervention strategies, and collaboration
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Salary: Negotiated Rate as per WTEA Agreement
