Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a Teacher of Sports Medicine Instructor. Candidates must hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate [Endorsement #4115]. Individuals holding a CE are eligible to be hired to teach the subject area identified in their endorsement in grades 9 to 12 in any New Jersey comprehensive school district or county vocational-technical school district. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and have demonstrated knowledge of sports medicine and effective teaching methods. Successful completion of an examination in physiology, hygiene, and substance abuse or basic military training or college-level study in areas of biology, health, or nutrition. Candidates must have the ability to maintain a positive learning environment and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Additional requirements include CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
