Kindergarten Dual Language Immersion Program Teacher

Teach all core subjects in the Chinese Language for half the day;

Teach a different class of kindergarteners in Chinese language during the other part
of the day;

Plan all lessons and assess all students for progress continuously throughout the school years;
Plan and conduct activities for a program of instruction, demonstration, and
work time that will provide the students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate as
needed, all in the Chinese language; Organize and lead activities designed to promote the development of the students;
Prepare assessment reports on the students and activities so as to notate how they are doing in the class and where they can improve throughout the year; Instruct students individuallyand in groups through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations;

Confer with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral and academic
problems; Prepare students for later grades by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks; Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative
regulations; Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration and Attend staff meetings and serve on
committees, as required. Certification from New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) in Chinese teaching required.
