Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school district in Westfield, NJ that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one school districts located in Union County. The Commission is currently seeking a Leave Replacement Occupational Therapist to enhance the sensory-motor, self-regulation, adaptive skills and pre-vocational skills of students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cognitive Impairments and Multiple Disabilities enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6 at Crossroads School in Westfield, New Jersey. Responsibilities include conducting individual, group and integrated therapy sessions; planning, implementing and monitoring treatment plans; IEP development; progress reporting; parent and teacher consultations; and staff development workshops.

* Available Immediately * Full-Time, 5 days per week * Hours: 8:20 a.m. - 2:40 p.m. * Competitive Salary
Requirements: * Master’s Degree from Accredited College or University in Occupational Therapy * Valid NJDOE Certification and NJ Licensure as an Occupational Therapist * Extensive knowledge of strategies to enhance sensory-motor, behavior and adaptive skills * Prior experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Developmental Disabilities required * Candidates with experience providing clinical services with the public school system preferred
