Maternity Leave Replacement for Second Grade Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team as a Maternity Leave Replacement for our Second Grade classroom.

Position Details:

• Role: Second Grade Teacher (Maternity Leave Replacement)
• Duration: November 11, 2024 through June 2025
• Location: International Charter School of Trenton, 105 Grand Street, Trenton NJ 08611
• Schedule: Full Time (7:55-3:15 Monday through Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school's curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback                                                                                                                                                                                   

Qualifications:

• Certified elementary school teacher (or equivalent teaching certification)
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for creating a nurturing and inspiring learning atmosphere
